Kirti Kulhari announces split: Kirti Kulhari took to her official Instagram account to announce that she is separating from her husband Saahil Sehgal. However, the actor's post is being seen as a prank by many fans and social media users, considering the fact that she chose to announce is on April 1.
The Pink actor revealed in her post that she and Saahil Sehgal had mutually decided to part ways. Kulhari also added that she won't be commenting on the subject further.
"A simple note to let everyone know that my husband Saahil and I have decided to separate. Not on paper, but in real life. A decision that's probably harder than the decision of "being with somebody", because coming together is celebrated by everyone you love and care about," Kulhari wrote in her post.
"And the decision of not "being with somebody" brings along pain and hurt to the same people. It's not easy. Guess it's not meant to be easy but IT IS WHAT IT IS," she further added.
Kulhari informed her followers that she is in a good place and will not be commenting on the issue any further.
Several actors have extended their support to Kulhari, best known for her role in the popular web-series Four More Shots Please. Sayani Gupta, who was recently seen in Sanya Malhotra starrer Pagglait, commented "You know we are in your corner no..."
Actor Divya Dutta commented, "Big hug to u my gal," while actor Amrita Puri wrote, "So brave of you to be so honest and vulnerable on a public platform. But then you’ve always been."
However, many social media users have refused to believe the news, claiming it to be an April Fool's prank. One of the users writes, "But why post this on 1st April? I think you guys are celebrating April's Fools Day" and the comment received more than 125 likes. "Today is April fool's day. She is making fool of us," commented another user.
