Addressing her choice to be open about cosmetic procedures, Khushi said, “I don't think it's such a big deal. I think the main issue is that people are scared they'll get hate if they come out and admit it. But I just feel like there's gonna be hate either way. I feel like this term plastic, plastic is like people think it's the biggest insult you can give someone. But I don't think it's bad if someone gets work done and stuff like that.

She further explained why she believes honesty is important in such matters, stating, “I think the issue is when people enhance themselves cosmetically and then say that ‘I woke up like this and I'm completely natural.’ Because then you're setting an unrealistic standard of beauty. It's unfair to younger girls and boys who look up to you and they think, ‘Oh, I don’t look like that, why can't I look like that?’ But it's because so much effort has gone into it.

Khushi highlighted how beauty standards are influenced by multiple factors, saying, “You know, you have a team, you have so many people, facials and this and that. There are so many new things, skincare that you can do to look a certain way, and not everyone knows that. So I think you might as well be honest because people are gonna not like you for some or the other reason.”

Reflecting on her social media confession about her nose job and lip fillers, she admitted that she initially hesitated, “I was scared for a while as well because I thought they're already saying plastic, plastic. They're saying I've done things that I've not done. So if I say the 1-2 things I have done, will they hate me even more because I've admitted it? But then you think about it, and it's not a big deal. Whether I've done the ten things they think I have or not, I'm still the same person. So it really doesn’t matter.”

Khushi first spoke about her cosmetic procedures in August, 2024 when she responded to a social media comment about her appearance. A user commented on an old video of her attending an event as a child with her mother, the late Sridevi, comparing it to her recent public appearances. Some users noted that she still looked the same, attributing her change to weight loss, while another wrote, "She was 12 here; she also just got braces; she got lip fillers, and that was that."

In response, Khushi confirmed the speculation, replying, “@archivekhushii lip filler and (nose emoji) hahaha.”
