Khushi Kapoor in The Archies will be making her Bollywood debut with the Indian adaptation of the popular American comic. The show is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and features a bunch of star kids as debutants including Khushi Kapoor.

Actor Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor's youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor will soon be making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, the Indian live adaptation of the American comic series. Khushi's elder sister Jhanvi is already active in Bollywood and has starred in movies like Dhadak, Roohi and Gunjan Saxena. Khushi was expected to join Bollywood considering her family background which is full of actors like Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and her mother Sridevi. Know The Role Of Khushi Kapoor In The Archies

Zoya Akhtar's The Archies will be featuring the iconic group of friends including Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper. Khushi will be playing the role of Betty Cooper, the girl next door and Veronica's best friend who competes with her to win over Archie. Betty's character in the comic was tomboyish, talented, beautiful and sweet.

The youngest daughter of Hal and Alice Cooper, Betty is a middle class girl and complete opposite of Veronica, who is rich and lives a luxurious life. Still, they are best friends and rivals only when it comes to Archie as they both are in love with him. Betty is also a vocalist in the group's music band named The Archies. She also plays instruments like tambourine, banjo, saxophone, keyboard, cello, recorder and maracas.

Besides Khushi, the show also stars Agastya Nanda as Archie and Suhana Khan as Veronica. Agastya is the son of Shweta Bachchan and grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Suhana is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter. Aside from these star kids, the show also features DOT, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda. The teaser of the show and the first look of the cast was released by Netflix India on its official Instagram handle on May 14 with the caption, "The sun is out, the news is out! Come meet your new friends.
