Recent celebrity encounters with fans seem to have brought fame’s sharp end home for a number of them. The actor Kartik Aaryan, who is presently promoting the movie Shehzada, came across a similar sticky situation while interacting with Kolkata fans.

Kartik Aaryan enjoys a sizable fan base. We’ve previously witnessed his female fans crying after giving him hugs or pecking him on the cheeks. A few months ago, two of the actor’s female supporters were spotted in front of his Versova, Mumbai, home. They persisted in pleading with the actor to come out. Recently a video went viral where the actor got into a sticky situation while interacting with fans in Kolkata.

Kartik Aaryan is seen in a viral video taking a selfie with a young woman in the middle of a sea of fans taking pictures of the actor with their smartphones. She sobs (likely out of joy) as the selfie is being taken, embracing the actor with tears as she does so. The actor maintains his calmness. The young woman was unceremoniously pushed away from Aaryan and into the back of the crowd as soon as the actor’s security team intervened to pull her away. Watch the video here.

Earlier, when Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was first released, Kartik Aaryan was preoccupied with its promotion. He went to Delhi and met with fans there to promote his new movie. A female fan of the actor broke down in tears when she met him during the promotional events. The actor went ahead and gave her a hug while comforting her. His other supporters could be heard clapping and chanting his name. Previously, a video of a girl passing out after seeing the actor had also gone viral.

Shehzada, which hits theatres tomorrow, stars Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan. The movie, which also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, and Ronit Roy, is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is a remake of the 2020 Telugu hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
