Kanika Kapoor, an Indian singer who has produced several popular songs, is rumoured to be getting married shortly. Kanika is expected to marry a man named Gautam, a London-based NRI businessman, in May 2022.

Kapoor, who is currently on tour in the United States, performing on stages in stadiums, is making headlines for rumours of dating and marrying a man named Gautam. if true, this will be Kapoor's second marriage, she was previously married to NRI businessman Raj Chandok.

According to an ETimes report, the decision to marry Gautam has been brewing for at least the last six months, given the fact that they had been dating for a year. The wedding is also expected to take place in London.

She married businessman Raj Chandok in 1997 when she was 18 years old and relocated to London. They had three children after that. Their divorce was finalised in 2012, and their marriage reportedly ended on bitter terms.

While talking about her marriage, Kapoor once said, "I didn’t fight. I just moved away. I’m not confrontational. If something isn’t going right, I ignore it and concentrate on the positives," and added, "Going through a bad marriage was difficult, but most women are in bad marriages. They just don’t talk about it, and they can’t get out of it."

She moved to Mumbai to pursue a career as a singer after her divorce in 2012. Kapoor's debut song, "Jugni Ji," was written for a music video and was a commercial hit. She debuted in Bollywood playback singing with the song "Baby Doll" for the film Ragini MMS 2 in 2014. The song topped the music charts upon its debut, and Kapoor gained widespread critical acclaim and multiple awards for her vocal abilities, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer.

Her top charting songs include Lovely and Kamlee for the film Happy New Year (2014), Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan for the film Roy (2015), Desi Look for the film Ek Paheli Leela (2015), "Nachan Farrate" for the film All Is Well (2015), and Jugni Peeke Tight Hai for the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015).
