K-Pop Girl Group TWICE To Release First Full English Digital Single Soon

According to the official announcement, the digital single will be releasing on a Friday of September globally.

TWICE First English single coming soon? K-pop girl group TWICE has announced their first full English Digital Single on Friday, June 25. The announcement has been made through their official Twitter handle which also hints at the release date of the single.

According to the official announcement, the digital single will be releasing on a Friday of September this year, globally. However, the exact date of the release has not been made public yet.

The girl group has recently made their comeback with their 10th mini album Taste Of Love on June 9 along with its title track music video Alcohol-Free. With the mini-album Taste Of Love, the girl group has scored its first No 1 on the Billboard's Top Album Sales Chart as its 43,000 copies sold in the US, as of June 17.

TWICE replaced the K-pop boy group Tomorrow x Together, also known as TXT's album The Chaos Chapter: Freeze for the spot. The last time two K-pop acts went back to back together on Billboard chart No 1 was when The Album by BLACKPINK debuted at the No 1 followed by boy band SuperM's album Super One. TWICE's Taste Of Love has also ranked No 1 on the Billboard K-Pop album chart and No 6 on Billboard Top 200.

Following the release of Taste Of Love, TWICE has also announced the release of their new Japanese album titled Perfect World, scheduled on 28 July this year. The group made the announcement on June 22 through their official Twitter account.

TWICE Makes History

In the month of May 2021, TWICE made history on YouTube with their music video for their Japanese Track Breakthrough which surpassed 100 million views on the platform. With this achievement, TWICE became the world record holder as girl group with the most number of music videos to have surpassed 100 million views. The record was previously held by the British Girl group Little Mix.
