Kareena Kapoor Khan And Saif Ali Khan Spotted With Jehangir, See First Photos

Jehangir first pic out: Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's baby boy Jehangir is just six-month-old and he is already making headlines.

Kapoor and Khan welcomed their second baby boy in February this year. The couple is often seen sharing pictures with the newborn's hidden face on social media, however, today we got a clearer glimpse of Jeh. In the pictures, his father can be seen cradling him in Mumbai as they arrived at Randhir Kapoor’s house. Baby Jehangir or Jeh can be seen dressed in a lavender coloured outfit.

Baby Jehangir also gazed at the people around him. He was accompanied by his mother Kareena Kapoor Khan and elder brother Taimur Ali Khan. See the photos here.

Jehangir first pic out: What does the name mean?

The name "Jehangir" is a Persian word that means "one who conquers the world". It was earlier revealed that the actor couple has been calling their second child Jeh. Later, the mother of two confirmed that Jeh's full name is Jehangir Ali Khan.

This week the couple faced constant trolling on Twitter for naming their younger son Jehangir. Netizens were quick to point out the similarities between the baby boy and Mughal emperor Jahangir's names, just as they had brought up 14th-century invader Timur when Taimur's name was revealed back in 2016.

For their firstborn too, the couple had to face immense backlash. Speaking to India Today, Kapoor said that she doesn't want to indulge in any kind of negativity right now, especially when her two "innocent children" are concerned. The actor said she is currently very "happy and content" in life and just wants to spread that happiness and positivity in a time like the COVID-19 pandemic. "I can't think of trolls or I can't think of any form of negativity. There is no place for negativity in our lives. Look at what the Covid-19 pandemic has taught us, guys. It has brought us closer, it has brought the world closer," she said.

On the work front, she will next be seen in Karan Johar's period drama Takht and Lal Singh Chaddha, in which she will share screen space with Aamir Khan.
