And now, some fans may be disappointed by the latest announcement about the film. According to reports, Farhan Akhtar and his crew have chosen to put Jee Le Zaraa on hold for the time being.

According to a source close to the development, "While everyone was looking forward to taking a great road trip in September of this year, everything has changed. For the time being, the three characters' bulk dates do not match, causing the film to be put on hold indefinitely. A new timeline will be chalked only once everything will be locked."

According to sources cited by a news portal, "It's very likely that it'll be postponed till the end of the year. Within the next few months, everything will be clear." According to the source, the entire script and screenplay for Jee Le Zaraa have been locked, and it's just a matter of everyone scheduling three actors' combined dates for a three-month period. Some rumours claim that the film will be released early next year, others claim that the wait will be considerably longer.

In the meantime, Akhtar has begun work on a new project, and he has a number of acting roles, with the Rakesh Sharma biopic being the most recent. Bhatt wrapped the scheduled portions of Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani in India last month and is now filming Heart Of Stone, her first Hollywood film.

In the spy thriller film, Bhatt joins a star-studded cast that includes Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan of Fifty Shades of Grey fame. Kaif, on the other hand, has finished filming for the Tiger's Delhi sequences with Salman Khan and is currently filming for Merry Christmas. Priyanka Chopra just wrapped filming on the thriller series Citadel, and she will soon be seen in Jim Strouse's Text for You.
