Jack and Mel in Virgin River Season 4 are expected to get married as reported by makers. The romantic drama was announced to be renewed for the fourth and fifth seasons earlier in September 2021. Jack is played by Actor Martin Henderson and Mel Monroe is played by Alexandra Breckenridge. The ending of the third season had left the fans with unanswered questions about the fate of its characters and their relationships.
Netflix romantic drama Virgin River is on its way to completing the filming of its fourth season. Actor Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays Mel Monroe on the show, announced that she had completed filming her scenes for Season 4 earlier in December 2021. Martin Henderson, playing the role of Jack, also posted on his social media pointing that the series has begun post-production for its fourth season.
Executive Producer Sue Tenney revealed earlier that Season 4 will follow the storyline around Mel’s baby as it may reveal its father’s name. “If we have a Season 4, it will be revealed at the end of and it's a driving storyline in ,” she mentioned.

Sue Tenney also confirmed that Jack and Mel in Virgin River Season 4 are going to be married. “Eventually, they are going to get married,” She said.
Referring to Mel’s baby in the show, actor Martin Henderson went on explaining, “At the drop of a hat, she goes and her dead ex-husband. It's rather a quick reaction to Jack's rejection.”
The official Instagram page of Virgin River also posted a video which confirmed the return of actor Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea in season 4. In Virgin River Season 3, Hope had been scripted to have a brain surgery after a car accident since O’Toole wasn’t able to film her scenes due to COVID-19. The rumours of her return in Season 4 had been confirmed after the video was posted on the show’s official Instagram handle.
Virgin river Season 4 has no official release date yet. However, it is expected to return during second or third quarter of 2022.
