Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana

The revenge love story of Rajkummar Rao's Sattu and Kriti Kharbanda's Aarti is cute and full of drama. The ambitious Aarti knows that the life of a girl who gets married in a small town like that of Kanpur will surely be filled with house chores and family dramas. Even though she loved Sattu, she wanted a bright career ahead that is why she left him at the alter. And the simple and good Sattu set on a revenge journey that ultimately ended up in falling in love again. The movie is a great example of how the societal norms and judgement of small town influence the lives of people there.

The beautiful ghats of Varanasi and the traditional lives of people there have not changed a bit even after centuries. The narrow lanes, the transportation, food is shown aptly in the film. The movie featuring Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush showcases a taboo Hindu-Muslim love story set in the backdrop of celebrations and festivals, the relationships of people in the small town along with dilemmas and frustration and the big city dreams of people.

Jab We Met was and will always be our favourite outgoing girl and introvert guy love story. Geet (played by Kareena Kapoor) and Aditya's ( played by Shahid Kapoor) love story is set in cities of Bhatinda and Shimla. While the hill station Shimla's snowy valleys and exotic culture is very calm and peaceful to watch, the chaos and craziness of the Punjabi town Bhatinda and Geet's Punjabi family is equally charming as well.
