Article 15

Article 15 is a neo-noir crime drama film released in Hindi in India in 2019. The inspiration for the film is Article 15 of India's Constitution, which outlaws discrimination mostly against women based on religion, race, caste, sex, or birthplace. While the film is not based on a single incident, it is inspired by several real-life events involving crimes motivated by caste prejudice, such as the 2014 Badaun gang rape claims and the 2016 Unnao flogging incident.

Haseena Parkar

Haseena Parkar is an Indian biographical crime film released in 2017. The movie is said to be based on the life of Haseena Parkar, Dawood Ibrahim's younger sister, who is played by Shraddha Kapoor. Haseena became involved in the mafia after her husband, Ibrahim Parkar, was killed in a shootout in 1991.

Talvar

Talvar, a 2015 drama film, is based on the Aarushi murder case. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Irrfan Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi, and many more in key roles. The film is inspired by the 2008 Noida murder case. The plot revolves around Dr Sachin Mahajan, who is suspected of murdering Ayesha, his daughter, even though all evidence points to him. CBI Officer Paraskar, on the other hand, begins a new inquiry, which leads him to some startling revelations.

No One Killed Jessica

No One Killed Jessica, a 2011 biographical thriller starring Vidya Balan as Sabrina Lal and Rani Mukerji as Meera Gaity, told the narrative of the Jessica Lal murder case, which made headlines all over India. The film depicted the entire case to provide a clearer picture to the public. Even though the criminal had been found guilty, Rajkumar Gupta's video led us to rethink our judicial system.

 Not a love story 

Not A Love Story is a film based on the true story of Neeraj Grover, who was brutally murdered, sliced up, and stuffed into a bag. Emile Jerome Mathew and Maria Susairaj were arrested as a result of the film. It's a must-see, starring Deepak Dobriyal and Mahie Gill. The criminal drama directed by Ram Gopal Varma is based on genuine events that occurred in May 2008, when television executive Neeraj Grover was murdered by actor Maria Susairaj and her boyfriend, LT. Emile Jerome Mathew. Since he was discovered in Maria's apartment early in the morning, her possessive boyfriend, Jerome Mathew, suspects Maria of having an affair with Neeraj. The film depicts the events that occurred as well as what happened later.
