Vidya Balan On Her Upcoming Release
The Dirty Picture star mentioned in an interview that her role in Sherni will be an adventurous character for her. Claiming that she loves to explore new subjects and characters, she revealed that she has a need to “continuously do different things”.
Last year, it was reported that the shooting of the film was interrupted as Balan declined a Madhya Pradesh minister’s dinner invitation, causing controversies. Later, MP Forest Minister Vijay Shah alleged that the shoot for the film hadn’t been cancelled
"I was there (Balaghat) on request from those who took permission for the shoot and requested me for lunch or dinner. I said not possible now, I will meet them when I go to Maharashtra. Lunch or dinner was cancelled, the shoot was not," he said.
