Heather Graham Shares Throwback Pics: Heather Graham remembered her relationship with her former boyfriend and late actor Heath Ledger and shared some memories on Instagram.

Sharing that Ledger has left an unforgettable mark on her life, The Stand actor on Tuesday posted some rare pictures on social media. "Going through my photos I found these. Just remembering this time," the 51-year-old actress wrote nearly 20 years later of their break up, adding that the Dark Knight star was "such a special person."

Heath Ledger died in 2008 of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. He was 28.

The pair first met in Prague at a nightclub and and "sparks flew", according to author Janet Fife-Yeomans biography on Ledger called Heath: A Family's Tale.

She shared three photos of the 10 Things I Hate About You star who died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. She dated the Australian native for about a year, before ending their relationship in 2001.

According to an IMDb news report, the couple held on to their friendship and remained "good friends" following their split. When asked why she remained single, the 2002 thriller Killing Me Softly actor had said, “I guess I feel it’s important for a level of happiness for a woman. Women should enjoy and appreciate their sexuality the way they want and not be judged by society about it. It’s about having an acceptance and dealing in a healthy way about your own sexuality. If you look at people who are rigid about sexuality they are at the same time doing something dark on the side.”

The Oscar winner Ledger then went on to date his Brokeback Mountain co-star Michelle Williams for two years and the pair welcomed their daughter, Matilda, in October 2005. The couple split in 2007, one year before he died in January 2008. Heather Graham Shares Throwback Pics

The Dark Knight grossed over $1 billion at the box office and Ledger bagged Best Supporting Actor Oscar posthumously for playing the role of the Joker.
