Haseen Dillruba teaser out: Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey starrer film Haseen Dillruba, which was rescheduled due to the second wave of the pandemic, will now release on July 2, 2021. The movie will have a direct OTT release on Netflix. "Kahani Aashiqana. Raaz Katilana. #HaseenDillruba coming soon. #TheUltimateKaunspiracy," read the tweet from online streaming service Netflix, that also unveiled the 8-second long teaser of the film on Thursday.
The film's lead star Taapsee Pannu also shared the same teaser on Instagram.
Besides Pannu and Massey, this upcoming thriller also features Harshvardhan Rane.
Pannu, who has a series of films lined up for release from Rashmi Rocket to Shabaash Mithu and Looop Lapeta, had wrapped the shooting of Haseen Dillruba late last year. This mystery thriller is directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Aanand L Rai. The film was supposed to release last year but the unit could only finish production in October.
Last year, the Pink actor had shared a picture from her last day on the sets of the film along with a note in which she dropped a few hints about her character Rani Kashyap. She had shared that her character in the film is a “self obsessed borderline narcissist". She wrote, “So what if I am annoying you now, one day I will rule your heart."
"Here’s to getting ‘pulp fiction’ back on screen with the character you either love to hate or hate to love coz basic toh hum vaise bhi kuch karte nahi hai na,” Pannu had added in her post. The film, according to a report by The Hindu, is about a woman whose heart longs to live like words captured in a novel. She soon finds herself entangled in the murder of her own husband.
