Gumraah Trailer Out, Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur's Suspense Drama To Release Soon, Gumraah Twitter Review
The upcoming suspense drama, Gumraah stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The trailer for the film was unveiled on March 23.

Mrunal Thakur, who received praise for her portrayal in Sita Raman, will now be seen in Gumraah in a whole different kind of role. The trailer for her latest release just came out today. She shared the trailer for the film on Instagram and wrote, "Har kahani ke do pehlu hote hain, Sach aur Jhooth; lekin iss kahani ke pehlu hain Gunaah aur Gumraah (Every story has two sides, the truth and the lies, but this one involves a crime and a missing person.)"

Gumraah Trailer:

The &embeds_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.indiatoday.in%2F&source_ve_path=MjM4NTE&feature=emb_title">trailer shows Thakur playing a cop for the first time, while it appears that drama and thrills have taken over as Aditya Roy Kapur's preferred subgenre. The actor will next be seen in this thriller, which follows The Night Manager's phenomenal success. He plays a double role in the film.

Ronit Bose also portrays the police official, the two officials who are hard on the leads of the two suspects. The trailer teases unmissable drama, a flurry of unexpected turns, and a mystery that will be revealed on April 7.

Supposedly based on actual events, the suspense drama covers two suspects who are also polar opposites. One is well-mannered and dignified, while the other is a thug with a quick temper. The police questioning of the two suspects as they try to solve the brutal murder of a young man also seems to take up a significant portion of the movie.
The film is Hindi remake of 2019 Tamil hit Thadam which stars Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep. The film is directed by debut director Vardhan Ketkar. He has previously worked as an assistant on films including Brothers (2015), Kapoor & Sons (2016), and Mubarakan (2017).
Kapur recently appeared with Anil Kapoor in the Hindi version of the BBC television series The Night Manager. He portrayed a former soldier who works as a hotel employee and is persuaded to take out a prominent arms dealer. Mrunal Thakur was last seen opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the Telugu blockbuster Sita Raman (2022) and also made a cameo appearance in Akshay Kumar's Selfiee last month.
