The thought-provoking drama is set in the life of a young woman, Naina, who goes through a terrible time after an unpleasant occurrence impacts her life. The plot revolves around the difficulty of distinguishing between consent and friendship, and it frequently ends with the protagonist hating themselves.
The trailer for the film was released today. It was almost 1 minute long and the description of the trailer read, “Gray aaj ke independent youth ki aisi kahaani hai jo aapko sochne pe majboor karti hai. Naina apni therapist ko apne saath hue ek aise haadse ke baare mein batati hai, jahan ek taraf uski dosti aur doosri taraf uski marzi, yaani ki consent ke beech woh jhoonjh rahi hai. Iss hadsey ko overcome karke Naina aakhir life mein aage kaise badhengi?” (Gray is such a story of today’s independent youth that it makes you think. Naina tells her therapist about an incident that has happened to her, where she is struggling between her friendship on the one hand and her consent on the other. Will Naina be able to move ahead in life after overcoming this limit?)

Gray starring Dia Mirza
The trailer was uploaded on Amazon miniTV’s official YouTube account, and the short film will be released on Amazon miniTV, which strives to provide audiences with compelling stories that entertain and educate them. Girish Prabhu, Head of Amazon Advertising, says, “We know about consent; we talk about it; the real challenge is how effectively we understand and implement it. We’re thrilled to add this powerful story to our collection of award-winning short films.”
Gray is a strong drama about consent, a topic that should be ‘black’ and ‘white’ but is sometimes pulled into ‘grey’ because we fail to grasp the meaning of ‘no.’ “We hope that everyone who sees the film will gain a better understanding of what consent means. We are ecstatic to work with Amazon Mini TV since its broad reach will ensure that this narrative reaches every corner of the country,” said Yuvaa Originals Co-Founder and CEO Nikhil Taneja.
