Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar, is a long delayed film by director Shashank Khaitan. The film’s release date was originally scheduled for June, but it was delayed for an unknown reason. However, now it is all set for a December release, the movie’s release date has also been made public by some insiders known to project.
The film was announced last year in November and since then the fans have been waiting for the film. According to the recent reports, the film will now release in December. Pinkvilla’s recent report, quoted a source close to the development, who shared the latest update about the film. The source close to the development said, “Govinda Naam Mera will release on December 16, 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar. The platform had a few dates in mind, however they have finally zeroed down on December 16. It’s an important film for them, and they will make an official announcement soon.”

Prior to this, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani collaborated on the film Lust Stories, and Kaushal also teamed up with Bhumi Pednekar for Bhoot: Part One: The Haunted Ship.
Vicky Kaushal is working on The Immortal Ashwatthama by Aditya Dhar and Sam Bahadur by Meghna Gulzar. He has already wrapped up filming for the Sam Manekshaw biopic’s first schedule. The Immortal Ashwatthama also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and is anticipated to begin production in 2023. In addition, Kiara Advani has Shankar’s RC15 with Ram Charan in the works and is currently filming Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik Aaryan. And for Pednekar, she has The Lady Killer, directed by Ajay Bahl starring Arjun Kapoor, and Afwaah, directed by Sudhir Mishra, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
