The South Korean girl group Aespa has topped the brand reputation rankings for June. These ranks were determined based on a thorough analysis done by the Korean Business Research Institute team.
Korean Business Research Institute has revealed June’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups and SM Entertainment’s rising K-Pop girl group Aespa tops the list.
According to Soompi, the rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups. These were analysed using big data collected by researchers from May 13 to June 13.
Rookie girl group Aespa shot to the top of this month’s list. The group consists of four members, Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning. While Aespa had their official group debut only in November 2020, they are already breaking records and making their way up to the Billboards.
The rookie girl group topped the ranking after acquiring a 655.91 percent increase in their brand reputation index since May. Aespa’s total index came out to 3,553,551 for June according to the research.
High-ranking phrases in Aespa’s keyword analysis were reported to include “Next Level,” which is the name of their hit single. Others also include “Billboard,” and “universe”. However, Aespa’s highest-ranking related keywords are “release,” “surpass,” and “enter.”
In the positivity-negativity research analysis, Aespa also had a score of 73.54 percent positive reactions. Meanwhile, Brave Girls under Brave Entertainment ranked second place. The group had a brand reputation index of 3,299,237 for the month.
Girl group TWICE under JYP Entertainment came in third place with a brand reputation index of 2,950,127. Their score marked a 56.69 percent rise in their score since May. Other groups in the top 10 rank include Oh My Girl, BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, ITZY, MAMAMOO, Rocket Punch, and STAYC.
