Deepika Padukone-led movie Gehraiyaan Release Time

Gehraiyaan a film which talks about modern relationship is probably the most anticipated movie of the year 2022 so far. The makers are also leaving no stone unturned to create more buzz around it. Read on to know more about Gehraiyaan Release Time.

Gehraiyaan released the trailer on January 20. This is the first feature-length project from the director Shakun Batra after Kapoor & Sons. Earlier it released the song titled Beqaboo on February 9.

In an exclusive interview with SheThePeople, Ananya Pandey said, “Usually I feel women are stereotyped in films. Either they are the bitch, the badass or bechari. Within those they will find some complexity but it is usually one of the three or a combination of those. But now it is reassuring to see its going away and I am seeing women like myself on screen. I want to see those. I just don’t want to represent women in these stereotypical roles but represent the different kind of women of India. The film touches upon the topics of infidelity. As per the trailer the film deals with raw emotions, promising a deep dive into love, lust and longing. The makers of  the film are being applauded for giving credit to their intimacy director Dar Gai. As per reports film is about Alisha, Zain, Tia and Karan. Alisha and Karan are in a relationship, while Tia and Zain are set to be married soon. Alisha soon begins an affair with Zain, who is engaged to her cousin Alisha. While their partners are unaware of their affair initially, things take a dark turn when the secret is out.

Gehraiyaan Release Time

The film stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa in the lead, with supporting roles for Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. Gehraiyaan will release on February 11 on Prime Video post midnight.

Ahead of the film release, the lead actor Deepika Padukone was involved in a couple of controversies. A social media influencer posted a picture of Padukone during the promotions of the film and suggested that her outfits are getting  'tinier' as the Gehraiyaan release approaches.

Since the film has shown glimpses of some of the intimate scenes in the film, a troll asked Padukone how her husband 'allowed' her to get intimate with another man on camera. Padukone exclaimed "yuck" after hearing the comment. She was supported by many social media users who said that Padukone should not be subjected to such judgements just for doing her job as an actor.
