Gangubai Kathiawadi Teaser To Drop On February 24

Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser: Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi is going to come out with its first teaser on February 24.

The fanbase of Alia Bhatt is more than excited to see her essay such a different role of a woman working in brothels. The film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has created quite a buzz with lawsuits, halted shooting schedules and Bhatt's hospital visit. It is after so many days of delays that the film finally went on the floor in January and the teaser is ready for the audience within two months.

According to reports, the teaser will drop on February 24, which also happens to be Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's birthday. Bhansali reportedly made the decision to treat his fans on his birthday with the teaser drop. The film is supposed to be Bhansali's biggest project till date.

The film Gangubai Kathiawadi will narrate the story of a real-life woman of the same name who used to run brothels. She became a champion of women empowerment. The film also draws from S Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

Recent updates by Alia Bhatt and the makers of the film suggest that Bhatt has been dedicated to the project and has done several night shifts on the set. The teaser will give a peek at what the Sanjay Leela Bhansali masterpiece is supposed to be like.
