Freida Pinto Flaunts Her Baby Bump, Expecting First Child With Fiancé Cory Tran

Actor Freida Pinto and her fiancée, photographer Cory Tran are expecting their first child. The award-winning actor took to social media on Monday to share the news. The parents-to-be posed along side each other, while Pinto could be seen flaunting her baby bump.

“Baby Tran, coming this Fall!,” the latter wrote in the caption.

The father-to-be, too, shared the same picture and caption on his own official Instagram page to announce the news.

For the uninitiated, the announcement of their pregnancy came in after two years of their engagement. The couple got engaged in November 2019 and shared the news on Instagram on Cory’s birthday. Freida Pinto addressed Cory as the “most beautiful creation” that walked into her life.

“It all makes sense now. Life makes sense, the world makes sense, the past tears and trials make sense, what wise old lovers said about love makes sense, where I am makes sense and where I want to go completely makes sense” her post read.

Cory Tran posted a picture of himself with Freida and wrote, “The best birthday present I could’ve asked for. Fiancé”.

The romance rumors related to the pair first sparked in 2017. Previously, Pinto was in a relationship with her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel.  They took their relationship public at the US Open in September 2018. However, they broke up in 2014 after dating each other for about seven years. In 2015, she told USA Today she and her ex are still "best friends" and "that's never going to change."

On the work front, Freida Pinto will be portraying British secret agent Noor Inayat Khan in an upcoming TV series titled Spy Princess. The series is based on Shrabani Basu’s novel named Spy Princess: The Life of Noor Inayat Khan. Apart from that, she will also feature in The Henna Artist, a TV series which has been inspired by Alka Joshi’s novel with the same name.
