Spending free time watching engaging films and shows on digital spaces or television has always been a favourite. The intriguing stories releasing in theatres and OTT platforms have also encouraged viewers to stick with the screens.

Films Releasing This Week

HIT: The First Case

Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra's powerful performances in HIT: The First Case has been applauded in the trailer. The film is a remake of a Telugu drama. Sailesh Kolanu is the director of both movies. As part of the homicide intervention squad, Rajkumar Rao will play a police officer who is looking into a missing woman. In the movie, Sanya Malhotra also has a prominent role.

Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore are the producers of HIT: The First Case. It is presented by Gulshan Kumar's T-Series in collaboration with Dil Raju Productions. The action-thriller movie will premiere on July 15, 2022.

Shaabash Mithu

The life of Mithali Raj, captain of India's women's national cricket team, served as the inspiration for the film Shabaash Mithu. The struggle of Raj in the male-dominated sport of cricket is revealed in the movie. In the sports drama, Mithali Raj will be played by Taapsee Pannu, who is well recognised for portraying impactful roles. The unsung tale of the women in blue will be shared by the actor.

On July 15, Shabaash Mithu will premiere in theatres, generating a profit at the box office. The movie is produced by Viacom 18 Studios and directed by Srijit Mukherjee. Ajit Andhare is the film's producer, and Priya Aven is its screenwriter.

Jaadugar

Jitendra Kumar and Jaaved Jaaferi are the stars of the sports dramedy Jaadugar. Arushi Sharma, known for her work in Love Aaj Kal 2, will play the female lead. A small-town magician who has little interest in football is forced to compete in a competition in order to marry the woman he loves. Jaaved Jaaferi plays a football coach, Jeetu assumes the character of a magician, and Arushi plays his love interest.

The new Netflix movie Jaadugar was written and directed by Sameer Saxena, and it was made by Posham Pa Pictures and Chalkboard Entertainment. The film will be released on July 15, on Netflix.

Gargi

Sai Pallavi plays the lead in the South Indian movieGargi. The story centres on a high school teacher who discovers her father has been taken into custody and has the shock of her life. The rest of the story describes how she battles a legal battle against all obstacles. Gautham Ramachandran is the film's director. Along with Sai Pallavi, Kaali Venkat also appears in the movie. On July 15, Gargi will be released in theatres.

The Warrior

The warrior will be released in theatres very soon this week. Both Krithi Shetty and Ram Pothineni are debuting in the movie. The soundtrack for the movie was written by Devi Sri Prasad, and it will premiere on July 14.

N. Lingusamy helmed The Warrior, an action thriller in which Ram will play a police officer in a never-before-seen character. The lead actress roles in the film will be filled by additional actors Krithi Shetty and Akshara Gowda. Krithi made her Tollywood debut in the blockbuster film Uppena in 2021.

She will make her Kollywood debut with The Warrior, where she plays the Radio Jockey. Aadhi Pinisetty, who has previously worked on successful movies like Sarrainodu and Eeram, is currently portraying an antagonist. The doctor will be played by Jayaprakash.
