This Mother's Day let's celebrate mom-daughter duos from the Bollywood fraternity. Dive in to read about the five sets of famous duos who have done wonders in their ways. Each one of them has had their own path and journey. Let's have a look at them.

1. Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan

One of the famous duo of the fraternity are Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan. The mom-daughter duo was seen together in the movie Raazi in 2018. Alia Bhatt, who has proved her mettle film after film, also made her debut in Hollywood with Heart of Stone.

Soni Razdan's second stint in the film business is fantastic. Soni has acted in several TV shows and movies in the last few years, including Raazi, No Fathers in Kashmir, and The Verdict. She does, however, have one regret about her career. The actor was offered the Anil Sharma-directed film Gadar Ek Prem Katha, but she declined. The 2001 release of the movie, which starred Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Amrish Puri, turned into a cult classic.

2. Masaba Gupta and Neena Gupta

Masaba Gupta is an Indian fashion designer and actor with her own label called House of Masaba. She is the daughter of Indian actor Neena Gupta and West Indies cricketer Viv Richards and grew up in Mumbai. The iconic mother-daughter duo known as “reality queens” for their unconventional choices have done a piece together, Masaba Masaba. Based on actual events involving the two, the program provides a glimpse into their journey through allusions and anecdotes placed against a fictional setting.

3. Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh

Sara Ali Khan and  Amrita Singh are often seen together; the latter is also seen accompanying Sara for her movie shoots.

When asked about the impact of strong women in her life during an interview with ETimes, Sara responded, "I think living with a single mother has a huge role to play in it." From a young age, I came to realize that nobody could do anything for me, even if they tried. Not because I don't receive assistance; I do. But in the end, you are the one who directs and starts your life. It will happen if the stars align, your luck holds, and God wills it to happen. It is not possible to wait around for things to happen; that is not how it operates."

4. Soha Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore

Soha Ali Khan is the daughter of the famous veteran actor Sharmila Tagore and late cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan. The Perils of Being Moderately Famous, an account of Soha's own life, was written by her. A wealth of family-friendly photos can be found on Soha's Instagram page. She and her mother Sharmila Tagore frequently exchange photos. She recently showed her mother images from the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. She shared the photos and commented, "Laburnum and mum."

5. Sonakshi Sinha and Poonam Sinha

Actor Sonakshi Sinha is the daughter of renowned Indian actors Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. She began her modelling career in 2008 and walked the ramp during Lakme Fashion Week. Her recent work in 'Heeramandi' is fetching her massive praise around. 

Sonakshi Sinha revealed this in an interview with Pinkvilla when she was questioned if she had purchased a new home for herself. "Ya!" exclaimed her. Being able to own a home of my own was a dream of mine. Living with my parents is extremely pleasant for me, but there's just one dream you want to realize, so that's why I accomplished it. I'm happy with myself and would like to give myself a pat on the back."

Sonakshi's mother, Poonam Sinha is an actor turned politician, she joined the Samajwadi Party, while her husband Shatrughan Sinha joined the Indian National Congress after resigning from the BJP.
