Esha Deol Reacts On Dharmendra's Emotional Post: Details Here

Recently, Dharmendra's grandson and Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol got married to his girlfriend Drisha Acharya. While everyone from the Deol family attended the wedding, there were a lot of questions raised as Hema Malini and her daughters Esha and Ahana Deol were missing from the ceremonies. 

Although this is not the first time this has happened. When Esha and Ahana got married in 2012 and 2014 respectively, their half-brothers Sunny and Bobby Deol too did not attend their weddings. Esha Deol, however, publicly congratulated Karan and Drisha on their wedding and wished them all the best for their future.

Esha Deol Reacts On Dharmendra Post

Taking to Instagram, Dharmendra posted a picture with his older daughter Esha and apologised hinting that he could not personally invite them to his grandson's wedding. He mentioned that it's because he is getting old and his illnesses are taking a toll on him. He wrote "Esha, Ahana, Hema and all my darling kids, and loving Takhtani’s and Vohra’s, l love you and respect you all from the core of my heart. Age and illness are telling upon me I could have spoken personally to you ……..but"

Reacting to this, Esha Deol too posted a nostalgic picture from her wedding with  Bharat Takhtani, and she wrote that she loves her father unconditionally and that he is the best. She also asked him to cheer her up and prayed for her father's health and happiness.

Dharmendra has been married twice. His first wife is Prakash Kaur who he married in the year 1952 before becoming an actor. He has four children from his first marriage, Sunny, Bobby, Ajieta and Vijeta Deol. Although, after getting into the industry and doing multiple films with Hema Malini, he fell in love with her and the two tied the knot eventually.

The actor has been in many controversies because of his love life as, according to the rumours he did not divorce his first wife before getting married to Malini. Malini, too, has spoken about her marriage and said that they have an unconventional marriage and that she chooses to keep a respectful distance from Dharmendra's family from his first marriage. However, in Malini's biography, Esha has respectfully mentioned that she ties a rakhi to her brothers, Sunny and Bobby Deol every year.
