Emma Stone: Disney dropped the first poster of Cruella in which Emma Stone is seen as the modern version of famous villain Cruella De Vil.
Emma Stone will be seen essaying the role of Cruella, a character that became famous when it appeared in 101 Dalmatians. In a poster released today, Stone looks like the punk style version of the character with dark lipstick and shiny hair.
The villain Cruella is known for her cruel behaviour towards animals as she made clothes from the skin of animals. 101 Dalmatians film showed her as a fashion designer obsessed with dog fur especially the black and white fur of dalmatians.
The first trailer of Emma Stone's Cruella drops on Wednesday and the movie will be released on May 28, 2021. At D23 in 2019, a video with Stone and Emma Thompson was showed to viewers in which Stone said, "It's 1970s, set in London -- can you get out of my eyeliner please?" She added, "It's punk rock. A great cast."
While talking about the film in an interview, Stone has called the movie "pretty trippy" and that it is bananas.
The live-action adaption of 101 Dalmatians is appreciated by the Glenn Close who played the role of Cruella in the film. Emma stone while talking about Glenn Close said, "I think she's obviously the GOAT, but I also have just loved the cartoon for a really long time."
