When Is 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness' Releasing On OTT?

Doctor Strange 2 OTT release schedule was announced by the makers of the film. The movie will soon be available to watch on OTT after claiming a successful offline release in theatres worldwide.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is the sequel of the 2016 movie Doctor Strange and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Elizabeth Olsen, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stulhbarg and Benedict Wong in pivotal roles. The movie released in theatres on May 6, 2022 and became the highest grossing film of 2022 with a massive box office collection of $911 million around the globe.

Doctor Strange 2 OTT Release Schedule

Doctor Strange 2 is a part of Phase Four of the MCU. The movie has a running time of 126 minutes and will be releasing online of Disney Plus Hotstar, the OTT platform that helms many of the Marvel movies and series, Ms Marvel being the latest one. The movie is directed by Sam Raimi and Kevin Feige is the producer of the film. The story is by Michael Waldron while the music of the film is presented by Danny Elfman. The reviews of the movie were great that reflected in its box office collection.

The official synopsis of the movie reads, "Dr Stephen Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens a portal to the multiverse. However, a threat emerges that may be too big for his team to handle." Benedict Cumberbatch will be returning in his iconic role of Stephen Strange and his antics as he explores the multiverse in this new movie. Although announced in 2019, the movie was caught in the Covid-19 pandemic which delayed its shooting that could only be resumed in March 2021. The movie was a treat for all the Marvel and Doctor Strange fans who have been eagerly waiting for the film to come out.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness will be available to watch online on Disney Plus Hotstar from June 22, 2022. The movie is expected to release on the OTT platform in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu at the usual time for mainly all Marvel movies, i.e., at 12 am IST.
