According to a report, the former Miss Asia Pacific, who is getting married for the second time, will have a close-knit wedding and only family members and the couple's friends will attend the ceremony.

The rumours of Mirza being in a relationship with Rekhi surfaced last year, however, the actor never officially acknowledged the rumours. As per reports, Rekhi is a Mumbai-based businessman and lives in Bandra's Pali Hill area.

Mirza was earlier married to film producer Sahil Sangha and the couple separated in 2019 after five years of marriage. In a joint statement, both Mirza and Sangha had said that they would continue to maintain a cordial rapport even after their split. "After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other," the couple had shared on social media.

Talking about the split with Hindustan Times, the actor said, “Any major life change is challenging, painful and difficult but the work is cathartic. This is what helps you grow and keeps your pursuit of happiness alive. And I am fortunate that the kind of work that I do gives me the opportunity to deal with the pain better. I want to just go out there and keep finding my voice and keep empowering myself and others.”

Later on Twitter, she had lashed out at the media for their "irresponsible" reportage and clarified that “no third person is the reason” for her separation.

Dia Mirza, who is the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) National Goodwill Ambassador, is known for her work in films like Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Tehzeeb, Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai, and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Her last Bollywood film was Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad. She also featured in the web-series Kaafir and has produced the Prime Video web-series Mind The Malhotras.
