While 2020 was a tough year for everyone, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has decided to start a afresh on social media in 2021. A couple of days ago, the Padmaavat actor Padukone deleted all her past posts and has now started on a new virtual journey.
She has also deleted all her posts from her Twitter account too. Her first post on social media was posted on 1 January 2021. With the post, she wished her Instagram family a 'Happy New Year' through an audio message.

Deepika Padukone Starts Afresh
The actor ringed in 2021 along with her husband and family in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. She posted various pictures and videos from her vacation. The much-needed break's glimpses were captioned as, "What my New Years looked like..... #ranthambore #rajasthan." In the comment section of her post, she further explained how spending family time helps her remain "grounded" and "rooted". She went on saying that for her, uninterrupted quality time with her closed ones is "absolutely essential."
Adding to it she wrote, "An observation or compliment I receive most often from my family and friends closest to me is how I haven't changed one bit personally despite everything I have achieved professionally. Little do they know what a huge role they have to play in it."

"For me, uninterrupted quality time with family and friends is absolutely essential. It keeps me grounded and rooted. lt's a reminder of where I've come from and everything it has taken me to get to where I am. So, take that much needed break," she added.
Last year, Padukone faced allegations of involvement in Bollywood drug scandal when chats with her manager surfaced in the public domain. Moreover, the 34-year-old actress also got into controversy due to her presence in the CAA-NRC protests at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Read more about it here.
In addition to that, on the work front, Padukone in 2020 gave the audiences a reason to cheer upon her acting skills with the movie Chhapaak and in 2021 she will be seen in the movie 83 alongside her husband Ranveer Singh.
