Deepika Padukone in Brahmastra? The possibility has fans going gaga over the internet. Reports have surfaced that Deepika Padukone will be featuring in a cameo in the upcoming movie Brahmastra, Ayan Mukherji's much-awaited movie.
Brahmastra movie is the next Bollywood biggie, with a star cast of Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and South star Nagarjuna Akkineni.
The Brahmastra team has finally released its teaser, which received an immense amount of love from the fans. After years of wait and delays caused by the pandemic, the film is finally set to release on September 9, 2022.
Ayan Mukerji who is helming what is believed to be Bollywood's biggest release yet is giving his all in the promotion of the movie, Brahmastra – Part 1: Shiva. Brahmastra has already created the buzz with its cast, and the first-time onscreen pairing of newlyweds Alia and Ranbir. This movie is believed to be one of the biggest movies to have its theatrical release since the pandemic. The makers are revealing characters and other details of the movie, giving a sneak peek into what's coming, ahead of the movie's release.
Karan Johar, just last week
announced a special collaboration with Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi, voicing Amitabh Bachchan’s portions as Guru for the Telugu version of the fantasy adventure. He took to social media and
wrote- "Welcome to Team Brahmāstra, Chiranjeevi Sir! So grateful and honored to have you lend your voice to the Telugu version of the film. Making this family only stronger with your boundless talent and grandeur! Watch out for his great rendition of our Trailer in the Telugu version, out on June 15th"
Deepika Padukone in Brahmastra?
Reports have now revealed that yet another Bollywood star, Deepika Padukone has been roped in to play a cameo in
Brahmastra. The actor was reportedly approached by the creators of the movie, Karan Johar and Ayan, for a special appearance, to which she has readily agreed. Deepika's character will be sharing screen space with Ranbir, and will act as a link to the sequel of the movie, as per reports. Deepika’s appearance in the movie is expected to be at the end of the film, as far as reports go.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in a special appearance in the movie and has already shot a few portions for Brahmastra. He is said to portray a negative role as a scientist in the movie. However, the cameo appearance of Deepika and Shahrukh are just speculations at this point, with no confirmation whatsoever by the makers of the movie. But fans are already hyped about this collaboration and are eager to see Deepika and Ranbir, after their hit onscreen pairing, seen last in Tamasha and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Brahmastra is expected to have a multilingual release with SS Rajamouli presenting the movie in the South, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
