Actor-Producer and now entrepreneur Deepika Padukone celebrates her birthday today. Bollywood's leading lady, who is all set to star in 'Pathaan' this year with one of her favourite co-stars Shah Rukh Khan, received a humbling wish from the latter.
Sharing a never-seen-before still from their upcoming film, SRK showered his love on Deepika Padukone on her 37th birthday and expressed his pride in her ever-evolving screen presence.
Pathaan, releasing in the theatres on January 25, is SRK and Padukone's fourth film project together. They earlier shared screen space in the films Om Shanti Om (2007), Chennai Express (2013) and Happy New Year (2014).
Taking to Instagram, SRK shared a photo of Padukone from their film Pathaan and wrote: "To my dearest Deepika Padukone - how you have evolved into owning the screen in every avatar possible. Always proud and always wishing for you to scale new heights. happy birthday. Lots of love, Pathaan"

Recently, during an 'Ask SRK' session on Twitter, Khan was asked to describe Padukone in a short sentence, to which he replied, "She is so nice it's unbelievable..."
Padukone was last seen in Gehraiyaan in 2022. One of the actor's most-awaited projects is the Bollywood adaptation of The Intern, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from this, she will be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in Fighter. She is currently shooting for a pan India project opposite actor Prabhas.
15 years of excellence
Padukone has come a long way since her debut in 2007. Her 15-year-old long career features blockbuster, high-grossing films including Cocktail, Piku, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Tamasha among several others.
In November 2022, on Om Shaanti Om's 15-year anniversary, SRK shared a photo collage of Padukone and himself on his Instagram. He used photos from all four films he collaborated on with the actor. "15 fabulous years of excellence, perseverance, amazing performances with you and the warm hugs. Here's looking at you, looking at you, and looking at your, and still looking at you," he wrote.
In December 2022, during the FIFA World Cup Final in Qatar, actor and Padukone's spouse Ranveer Singh expressed his pride and love for her sharing that she will always be his number one trophy.
