Deepika Padukone turned 40 on January 5, and the internet is flooded with photos and reels from her pre-birthday meet-and-greet. In December 2025, the actress flew in some of her fans from across India for an intimate gathering in Mumbai. The event was called 'A Day of Gratitude with Deepika Padukone,' filled with heartwarming interactions, party games, personalised gifts, gourmet food, and more.

Deepika opted for a simple yet classy look: a burgundy co-ord set, brown pumps, small gold hoop earrings, and a gold watch. She kept her makeup and hair minimal and elegant. 

Highlights From The Event

According to reels posted by the attendees, Deepika Padukone specially invited a bunch of her fans for the meet-and-greet at Mumbai's Mahalakshmi Race Course on December 18, 2025.

The actress reportedly made travel arrangements for her fans coming from all over the country. The lucky guests were treated to a lunch, personalised hampers, and return gifts valued at ₹15,000.

Deepika hosted a Q&A session, played games with her fans, spent time chatting one-on-one, and posed for solo photos, making the experience personal and memorable.

In one nostalgic moment, the actor cut a birthday cake as fans sang the iconic number Aankhon Mein Teri Ajab Si Adaayein, a song from her debut film Om Shanti Om (2007).

Most Viral Fan Moment

For many of the attendees, these interactions with Deepika were deeply personal and emotional. One such fan was Mayur Sarita Dilip Zad, who also brought his mother to the event. 

Mayur's mother gifted a box of her homemade puran polis to Deepika. "When Deepika thanked her, my mom couldn’t hold back her emotions," Mayur wrote in the caption of his heartwarming reel.

Deepika Padukone also recently announced the launch of a new initiative called 'OnSet Program', which she says will empower the next generation of creative talent.

She said, “I’ve been feeling very strongly about identifying incredible creative talent from across the country and beyond and giving them a platform to be seen, heard and experienced."

Deepika is one of the most admired actors from India, with a career spanning over 15 years. Right from Om Shanti Om to her upcoming film King, she has grown to become one of the most influential stars.
