Dasvi: Abhishek Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur, Yami Gautam's Social Comedy To Release Soon

Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam Dasvi's release date was revealed recently. The film is aiming for an OTT release on April 7, 2022.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan will be seen as Gangaram Chaudhary, a corrupt and illiterate politician, on his journey of preparing for the tenth board exam, from jail. The film is reportedly a social comedy, set in a village, with a quirky take on right to education, as we’ve gathered from the"> trailer. The actor also took to social media to mark his return on OTT in a post stating, “From one student to another, Dasvi ke exams ke liye dher saari best wishes!”

Dasvi marks actor Abhishek Bachchan’s fifth consecutive OTT release as he calls himself the “OTT ka Bachchan” in an interview. His previous OTT releases include Breathe, Ludo, Sons of Soil, and The Big Bull. The actor has been seen playing a range of roles and has claimed that OTT platforms have kept him busier in the last year than films have kept in the last decade.

Dasvi release date:

Dasvi marks the directorial debut of Tushar Jalota. Written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair, and Sandeep Leyzell, former Aam Aadmi Party leader and poet, Kumar Vishwas is reported to be the script and dialogue consultant. Dasvi is presented by Maddock Films by the producer Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios. This marks their second venture together, with the last collaboration being Kriti Sanon's 'Mimi'. Dasvi will also be seeing a fresh onscreen pairing with Abhishek Bachchan along with Yami Gautam Dhar and Nimrit Kaur.
