Parineeti Chopra Starrer Espionage Thriller 'Code Name: Tiranga' Teaser Trailer Released

Parineeti Chopra starrer Code Name: Tiranga’s teaser trailer was revealed by T-Series today. The action thriller has been described as the story of a spy on a mission for her nation.

Code Name: Tiranga stars Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu in lead roles, alongside Sharad Kelkar, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajit Kapur, Shishir Sharma, Deesh Mariwala, and Sabyasachi Chakraborty.

Code Name: Tiranga is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vivek B Agrawal, Reliance Entertainment, and Film Hangar.

The film also marks director Dasgupta and actor Chopra's second collaboration, the two previously worked together in the film The Girl On The Train.

Code Name Tiranga Teaser Trailer

The teaser ">trailer shows lead actor Chopra as a spy with the call sign Alpha One. She plays the role of an Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent whose mission takes her across several countries. Chopra's character embarks on a mission given the code name 'Tiranga'.

The espionage action thriller follows Chopra’s character on her dangerous mission to save her country in a “race against the clock where sacrifice is her only choice”. The Code Name: Tiranga teaser trailer featured Chopra as a bruised and battered spy and she took down her enemies with hand-to-hand combat and guns.

Chopra previously spoke about her role and said, “I am back again to present myself in a whole new avatar that no one has seen me do before!” She said the image of her bruised and holding a gun in the poster was “a teaser for all the things that are in store for the audiences.”

Chopra described it as a “sneak peek” into her character and assured her fans that the Code Name: Tiranga team intended to shock and awe the audience.

Code Name Tiranga Release Date

The upcoming espionage thriller Code Name: Tiranga is set to release on October 14. Actor Parineeti Chopra took to social media on September 19 to unveil the film's new posters along with the release date.

She wrote in the caption, "Nation. Love. Sacrifice. #CodeNameTiranga releasing in cinemas on 14th October 2022."
