After the success of the 2021 horror film Chhorii, the makers are back with its much-anticipated sequel. Chhorii 2 brings a fresh story but continues to address the important social issue around women. Just like the first film, the story follows a woman’s fight against evil forces, both supernatural and societal, but this time to protect her young child from deep-rooted regressive beliefs.

Starring Nushrratt Bharuccha once again in the lead, the sequel also features Soha Ali Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Saurabh Goyal in key roles. The film is directed by Vishal Furia, who also helmed the original. It is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from April 11, 2025.
Many viewers have already had the chance to watch it, and their reactions are pouring in online. Many have praised the film for sticking to its core theme while upping the horror and emotional intensity.
