Shilpa Shetty Kundra's Comeback Film Hungama 2 Trailer Out: Here’s All About The Cast Of The Film

Cast Of Hungama 2: Hungama 2 is all set for an OTT release on July 23. The trailer was dropped by Akshay Kumar on his social media accounts on Thursday.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film stars prominent Bollywood actors such as Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, Meezan Jafri and Pranitha Subash in lead roles. The film is a sequel to the 2003 hit comedy of the same name. Kumar described the film as a “crazy laugh riot”. It was slated to hit theatres on August 14, but because of COVID-19 restrictions, the film is headed for a digital release.

Here is all we know about the Ensemble Cast of Hungama 2. 

• The 2003 film was a remake of the Malayalam film Poochakkoru Mookkuthi and featured Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal and Rimi Sen in lead roles.
• Veteran actor Paresh Rawal is returning for the sequel as one of the leads and is joined by Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan and Pranitha Subhash in pivotal roles.
• New additions to the cast include Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Manoj Joshi, Tiku Talsania and Ashutosh Rana among others.
• The film marks Shilpa Shetty's comeback to the film industry after 14 years. In a statement to PTI, Shilpa said that she loves being on set and acting in front of the camera. “I am so excited to be back and doing what I am really passionate about,” added Shilpa.
• The cast had completed shooting for the film in February this year. The film is shot across different locations in India.
• Paresh Rawal plays Radheshyam Tiwari, Shilpa Shetty’s husband in the film, as was unveiled in the trailer. Meezaan plays the role of a potential love interest of Shilpa’s character. The film chronicles Meezaan’s character as he tries to scandalise Radheshyam Tiwari.
• Priyadarshan shared with PTI that he approached actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Siddharth Malhotra and Kartik Aaryan for the film before finally offering it to Meezaan.
• Additionally, the film will mark Director Priyadarshan’s return to Bollywood after an eight-year-long break.
• Akshaye Khanna will also be seen in a cameo role in Hungama 2.
