Ahead Of The Bridgerton New Season, Here's The Release Schedule

Bridgerton season 2 release schedule has been announced by Netflix ahead of the sequel's release worldwide. The series featuring the romantic adventures of Bridgerton's during the Regency Era will be back with a new love story in the second season.

The first season of Bridgerton was a roller coaster ride where we witnessed Daphne Bridgerton's romantic escapades with the Duke of Hastings. We saw a forced marriage that turns steamy and passionate after they realise they have feelings for each other. What hooked the audience most were the swoon-worthy scenes. And now the popular Netflix series will return to your screens featuring another Bridgerton and his love story that everyone is highly anticipated to watch.

Bridgerton Season 2 Release Schedule

Bridgerton season 2 will feature Anthony Bridgerton's, or rather his mother's, quest for a bride for himself. And to make things easier, we have sisters Kate Sharma and Edwina Sharma all the way from India to London and they too are looking for a groom for the younger one, Edwina. Bounded by his duty to wed for the sake of his family and it's future, Anthony approaches Edwina with the expectation of marrying her but he has a big wall ahead of him, her sister Kate. Cold and protective of her younger sister, Kate puts Anthony to a lot of tests and troubles to check his eligibility for her sister.

However, we see both, Kate and the Viscount, facing inner turmoil because of unexplained feelings they develop for each other on the process. The trailer gives us glimpse of a possible battle between love, duty and family. The series will feature Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran in lead roles. Recently, it was revealed that the series will feature a haldi ceremony and also have Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham title track that will be fascinating for Indian fans to watch.

The season 2 of Bridgerton will release on Netflix globally on March 25, 2022. The release time for the sequel is set to be 3 am Eastern Time and 12 am Pacific Time. The show will reportedly consist of eight episodes, almost an hour long each, that will release all on the same day instead of a weekly or daily release. Hence, the fans can binge watch the entire season at once on Netflix and will not have to witness troubling cliff-hangers if any.
