Bipasha Basu On Motherhood, "I Am Absolutely Comfortable With Everything"

Actor couple Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu announced their pregnancy a few days ago with pictures from their maternity photoshoot. The parents-to-be was seen twinning in white shirts and Grover was seen cradling and kissing Basu’s baby bump. The actors got married in 2016 and had been trying for a baby before the pandemic too, but their plans had to be put on hold. The soon-to-be mother in a recent interview revealed that 2021 is when they thought about going for it again.

The actor, who starred alongside Karan Singh Grover in the 2020 web series Dangerous, revealed, "The intention was absolutely to focus on that in life. Since I wanted to have a baby and return to work right away thereafter, I was actually not doing any kind of work. It took a while to do it. We gave up on the idea entirely in 2020 since we had no idea where the world was headed and took a year off from trying. We decided to try again in 2021, and thanks to God's kindness, we got pregnant. "

Bipasha Basu on Motherhood Journey:

Basu recalls the day she found out she was expecting, "It was a really emotional day. I remember me and Karan ran to my mother’s house just the way we were, she was the first person I wanted to tell.  Everyone was emotional. My mother always wanted me and Karan to have a child. I always had faith we would, and it happened. I am more than grateful for this. " The actor doesn't say when she is due, but according to reports, she is presently in her fifth month of pregnancy.

Regarding the physical changes she is experiencing, the actor believes that it is important to always love your body. She explains that she is "moving through another phase of her life." She added, " This is when a woman's body transforms. I never truly considered how much my body would alter during pregnancy. There have been many changes since I began this phase, and I Am Absolutely Comfortable With Everything."
