Billie Eilish Leads Nomination List For The iHeartRadio Music Awards

It will also give a glimpse into the upcoming hit songs of 2021 of several music artists.

The award ceremony will be aired live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on May 27 on FOX this year. Besides this, one can hear the event on iHeartMedia radio stations, and also on the iHeartRadio app.

Last year's iHeartRadio Music Awards ceremony was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, iHeartRadio stations made it a point to announce the winners on-air throughout Labor Day weekend. The names of the winners were also announced on the iHeartRadio app.

This will be the eighth year of the iHeartRadio Music Awards which celebrates and commemorates the most played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app during 2020. It will also give a glimpse into the upcoming hit songs of 2021 of several music artists.

Besides just celebrating singers, iHeartRadio Music Awards will also give the listeners an opportunity to decide on their winners via voting. They can do so by choosing the valid music category, and nominee hashtags which are available on the official website: iHeartRadio.com/awards

The voting will begin on April 7 and will close on May 19  at 11:59 PM ET  for all the musical categories.

Apart from Billie Eilish, which artists are in the nominations?

Apart from Billie Eilish, many artists are on the iHeartRadio nomination list. For the 'Song of the Year' award, The Weeknd will have to compete against Post Malone, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, etc. Their respective hit songs which will be competing for this award include Blinding Lights, Circles, Don’t Start Now, and Watermelon Sugar. 

For the 'Female Artist of The Year' category Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion will be going head-to-head against each other. Other notable nominees include Doja Cat, Maroon 5, Twenty-one pilots, Maroon 5, BTS, etc.
