Bhuj The Pride Of India: The upcoming Indian period drama will be casting Sonakshi Sinha and Nora Fatehi in its lead roles along with Ajay Devgn and is set to be released on August 13. Here are 10 things you must know about the film.

1. The film will be releasing on August 13, 2021
2. The period drama is based on true events from the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
3. Also starred by Sanjay Dutt, the film is helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya who is known for producing as well as directing over 20 Indian Television shows including Ehsaas, Agneepath, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Life Ka Recharge and Umeed Naye Subha Ki among others.
4. The motion poster of the said film reveals as part of operation Chenghiz Khan, Pakistan attacked the Bhuj airbase.
5. It will also cast others like Ammy Virk, Sharad Kelkar in lead roles.
6. Devgn will be playing the role of  Vijay Karnik, who is a member of the Indian Air Force, in the movie.
7. The film narrates the story of how the Bhuj airbase was reconstructed.
8. According to the teaser, the Bhuj airfield was attacked by “92 bombs and 22 rockets” and Karnik, along with the help of 300 local women, reconstructed the entire Bhuj airbase so they could fight back and save the country.
9. Producer Bhushan Kumar said on the film, "This courageous tale needs to be told because we want the current and the coming generation to know about this brave soldier". He added, "Also, who better than Ajay Devgn for the role of Vijay Karnik?"
10. The official trailer of the film is expected to release on July 12.
