The latest horror comedy film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, was released in theatres on Friday, May 20. The Anees Bazmee-directed film was released in 3,200 Indian theatres and 629 worldwide, for a total of 3,829 screens.
Bhul Bhulaiyaa 2 is the sequel to the 2007 film Bhul Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The film was supposed to be released in July 2020, but it was postponed owing to India's COVID-19 outbreak. It was postponed once more to prevent a clash with RRR. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released in theatres on May 20, 2022. Critics and viewers alike have given the film mostly positive reviews.
