The Kriti Sanon Varun Dhawan starrer film Bhediya is set to hit the theatres soon. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and is produced under the Maddock films banner and Jio Studios. The film explores the story with a bloodthirsty werewolf as its central character in the jungles of Arunachal Pradesh.
Actors Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan made a joint announcement for the trailer release of their upcoming comedy-horror genre film Bhediya. Sanon and Dhawan were last seen together in the 2015 film Dilwale.

The film's plot further delves into the comedy-horror universe of producer Dinesh Vijan (Maddock Films) and director Amar Kaushik who have earlier collaborated for films like Stree and Stree 2. Bhediya, which was shot majorly in the state of Arunachal Pradesh also has a lot of local actors as a part of the cast. Actors Deepak Dobriyal of Tanu Weds Manu fame and Abhishek Banerjee of the Stree fame have played pivotal roles in the film.
The ">teaser starts by showing the viewers a rare sight of a werewolf chasing a man in the jungle and shows a small peek of a fire in the first and a group of friends hiding in a small cottage. The film boasts of VFX on an escalated level, that will showcase the wolf magnificently on screen. Actors Dhawan and Sanon shared the teaser captioning the video writing, "Banega insan uska naashta." The teaser also gives a glimpse of a lyrical folk tribute whilst taking us on a small tour of a forest. It will be interesting to watch the role of all actors in a film that explores the angle of a werewolf alongside highlighting the importance of forests.
Sanon, who garnered significant attention for her role in the film Mimi, is now exploring the horror-comedy genre in a new avatar. On the other hand, Dhawan was last seen in JugJugg Jeeyo, which did massively well in the theatres. The film's cast and crew have already started the promotions for the film, and the lead pair was seen promoting the teaser in Mumbai lately.
The official trailer of Bhediya will release on October 19, which also marks actor Varun Dhawan's ten years in the film industry. The film is set to release on November 25 this year.
