Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Star Shubhangi Atre Tests Positive For COVID-19

Television actor Shubhangi Atre tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

She revealed that she had been suffering from mild symptoms from Monday morning and that she had gone for a rapid test as well. The test then revealed that she has been infected.

“I have tested positive for Covid-19. I had mild symptoms after which I decided to get her test done today morning itself, " she said.

“I am healthy but am suffering from a headache. I am on rest. I request people who have been in contact with me since the to get themselves tested," she added.

Shubhangi Atre has now joined the list of celebrities who have tested positive for COVID-19. This includes Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Sudhanshu Pandey, Vipul Roy and Mishkat Varma.

Shubhangi Atre talks about how she loves celebrating Easter

A day before, Shubhangi Atre spoke about how she enjoys baking Easter goodies with her daughter on the occasion of Easter Sunday. “Easter is great time. The festival vibes are always special for me. I'm celebrating the day, by baking cakes and chocolates with my daughter," she said. Many other television stars such as Arshi Khan, Geetanjali Tikekar, and Rakhi Vijan spoke about what they loved about the festival.

Earlier, Atre spoke about the discrimination she had faced as a married woman in the television film industry. Shubhangi revealed that she was told that she wasn't 'heroine' material. She also spoke about her passion for acting since childhood, and said that her husband and family have always been very supportive of her.

The actor is known for her acting in TV serials such as Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, Kasturi, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Chidiya Ghar, etc.
