Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2: Nakuul Mehta And Disha Parmar Are New Ram And Priya

Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 promo out: Producer Ekta Kapoor has finally revealed the names of the actors who will play the new Ram and Priya in her upcoming show Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2.

Kapoor launched the first promo of the show on Thursday and introduced Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar as the lead actors. The popular television show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain originally featured actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar.

On August 12, Kapoor unveiled the promo of the new show and introduced the cast to the fans who have been eagerly waiting for some fresh stories on television. The first season was aired in 2011 and became an instant success for showcasing the love story of a middle-aged couple. Earlier, interacting with the previous on-screen couple Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar ahead of the release of Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 promo, the producer told  that they will always stay Sakshi and Ram for her. However, there's a whole generation who are unaware that urban loneliness in the 30s is a thing and that's what she is trying to convey through the new season. Kapoor revealed that the new show will bring a fresh perspective to those in their 30s searching for love.

The hit show Kasautii Zindagii Kay producer went on to share that the female lead of the second season will be as “pretty as Sakshi”, but the male lead “looks nothing like Ram”. The first promo starts with Mehta and Parmar getting together at a party. He asks the lady (Parmar) standing next to him why she is not yet married, as she is already 32. To which she counter questions him as to why he is unmarried at 38. Mehta, looking effortless, shares that he is tending to a broken heart and now there aren't too many options for him to get married. Parmar, on the other hand, brings out a sharp sense of humour to the character as they both engage in a conversation. Finally, they find "common" ground and the promo sets the stage for their chemistry to explode. Next, it winds up with a voice-over that says, “Shaadi ke baad pyaar hote hote ho hi jaata hai."

The two actors have starred in the hit show, Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.  The release date of Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 is yet to be announced.
