Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 cast: The new season of the hit show Bade Acche Lagte Hain, which had a successful run of more than 600 episodes, will have actors in Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar in pivotal roles. They are all set to play the new Ram and Priya. Ekta Kapoor has shared the first promo that has left netizens wanting more.

Recently, Kapoor reunited with Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor, the stars of the maiden season, virtually, to announce the second season of Bade Acche Lagte Hain. Today, she unveiled the promo of the show and also revealed that Mehta and Parmar will feature in a similar storyline.
The promo was out on Instagram on August 12. It shows a woman in her early 30s (played by Parmar) and a man in his late 30s (played by Mehta), both searching for love. The promo starts with Ram and Priya discussing why they are unmarried and engaging in a casual conversation only to realise they have certain things in common. “Shaadi ke baad, pyaar hote hote ho hi jata hai,” is the voiceover that follows. The film and television producer also interacted with the lead actors in her Instagram live video after the promo launch.

For those not aware, the Mehta and Parmar starrer show is season two of television's popular show aired from 2011 to 2014. It was one of the most popular shows on television and showcased the love story of a middle-aged couple.

Divyanka Tripathi was first offered the female lead in the show but she turned it down. Following that Parmar was asked to portray the role of Priya in the reboot version. The television actor recently tied the know with singer Rahul Vaidya in Mumbai. The 26-year-old actor is from Delhi and started her career as a model. She bagged her first big project at 17 and was launched in Pyaar ka Dard Hai. She is known for her performances in shows like Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Woh Apna Sa.

Mehta has been roped in to play the male lead Ram in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. The actor has had a successful career on television, appearing in shows such as Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Ishqbaaaz. However, two years back, he decided to not pick more television shows. The actor and his wife Jankee Parekh welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on February 3.
