There are rumours that Vampire, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Samantha Ruth Prabhu from Yashoda, will add to the franchise, which was launched by Amar Kaushik's Stree (2018). When asked about the status of Vampire, Khurrana responded that a formal announcement would be shared shortly.

The actor has previously worked with Vijan and Kaushik on the 2019 box-office sensation Bala. He told PTI in an interview, "Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik are attempting to create a universe of horror. The Indian audience will find it very intriguing and interesting. We will make an official announcement soon, so let's wait and see when it happens."

According to rumours, the upcoming film in the horror-comedy universe, Vampire will be based on a Rajasthani folktale. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will play a princess, while Ayushmann Khurrana will play a vampire.

The fourth instalment in the Maddock Films-supported horror-comedy series will follow Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree, Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Sharma's Roohi, and the upcoming Bhediya with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

Khurrana will also be seen in Dream Girl 2. In the film, he plays a man who makes a living by impersonating a female voice. The films will feature Ananya Panday. It will be the sequel to 2019's hit social comedy. Raaj Shaandilyaa will return to direct Dream Girl 2. The team hopes to wrap up the shoot in the following 15 days, according to Ayushmann Khurrana.

According to the actor, the second film in the Ekta Kapoor-produced series will be a fun film with a strong social message. He said, "There will be an element of the first one, but it is a brand-new story. It (film) is more commercial than the first one. It is well mounted."

He will be next seen in An Action Hero. His upcoming film An Action Hero is supported by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Aanand L. Rai's Color Yellow Productions. The film, which also features Jaideep Ahlawat, is scheduled to hit theatres on December 2.
