Is Asur 3 In The Making? Arshad Warsi Hints On What Should We Expect

Asur is one of the most popular Indian thriller series on Voot and Jio Cinema. The series starring Ridhi Dogra, Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka and Vishesh Bansal has received immense love from the audience and had two successful seasons. Now the audience is waiting for season three.

Oni Sen's Asur reveals the modern world's dark side to the audience. The movie's story is based on Hindu mythological stories and beliefs about Kaliyug, the modern yuga, Kalki, the tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu and Kali, his counterpart that is the embodiment of everything evil and destructive. The series takes us on a journey on how the modern world is corrupted with destructive habits which empower Kali and how a young misunderstood and wronged boy takes the task of making Kali, the dark side of the world, triumph.

Asur 3 Release: Everything About The Next Season

Season two of the series showed Shubh's ultimate attempt to destroy the world and make people realise their inner demons. However, Nikhil Nair and his team are able to take him down before he causes mass destruction. A tricky and dangerous mission ends as Shubh is behind bars but the last episode leaves loose ends to the story of Kali and the fact that it transfers from one vessel to another. The new season is expected to begin from where the last one left off, Vrinda's house, and will probably feature another vessel of the destructive mythical character.

Recently, Arshad Warsi reportedly said in an interview that it would be foolish not to have a season 3 of the show. That makes sense because the makers definitely left a lot of things for potential development in the last season.

The audience has various theories about the following season. A Twitter user speculates that Vrinda might be the next Asur because of the sketches found in her house. Another user thinks that it is Anant who can be the Asur because, in the end, Shubh is seen saying 'Kali hi anant hai' or Kali is eternal. People have different theories and are eagerly anticipating the upcoming season.

However, no official announcement has been made yet.
