Vidyarthi, a veteran actor, married Rupali Barua a few weeks ago in Kolkata. He has opened up about the opposition to his second marriage in a recent interview with India Today. Vidyarthi spoke about the criticism he has received for marrying again at the age of 57.

Concerning the trolls, Vidyarthi ">stated that he read remarks about him on social media after announcing his second marriage to Rupali Barua.

The actor spoke about reading phrases like 'buddha-khoosat' (a person who is old and decrepit) and other harsh terms. But what's the harm in looking for companionship and love? Why can't Vidyarthi and Barua celebrate their relationship and get married despite the age norm?

In response to being trolled for a second marriage "What are these walls we're erecting for everyone?" the actor continued.

Vidyarthi said that as a law-abiding individual, he is allowed to make the personal decision to legally marry another person who is likewise eager to get married.

Ashish Vidyarthi married Rupali Barua in an intimate wedding in Kolkata last month. He wore an off-white ethnic costume to the wedding, while his bride wore a white and gold saree. Vidyarthi was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, with whom he had a kid named Arth. The couple got divorced in 2022.

In a video, Vidyarthi explained how he met Rupali Barua and how they began chatting and eventually met a year ago. They noticed something intriguing in each other and imagined ourselves walking together as husband and wife. As a result, Rupali and he are married. Further Vidyarthi remarked that everyone has the ability to be joyful regardless of a number.
