Pop star Ariana Grande and her luxury real estate developer spouse, Dalton Gomez, are reportedly parting ways after two years of being married, according to People magazine. Grande and Gomez tied the knot in May 2021. They separated earlier this January but have been "quietly and lovingly working on their friendship."

As per the report, news of the couple spitting up began going viral after Grande, who is currently filming the screen adaptation of Wicked in London, was spotted without her engagement ring and wedding band at Wimbledon.

In another report, the US Weekly also reported that the singer had been having some issues with Dalton Gomez before leaving for London. The news outlet quoted that the couple were having issues even before she left for filming in London and that they couldn’t resolve them, and it seemed like even the distance didn't help. The couple were reportedly not speaking; they were separated, and a divorce was likely.

The couple got married in May 2021 at Ariana Grande’s home in Montecito in a private ceremony. They were engaged several months before their marriage and spent a lot of time together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, last year, the singer shared a makeup video on TikTok where she was spotted without her ring, which sparked off a divorce rumour. Grande immediately shut down the rumours by stating that she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring because it was getting cleaned. "I’m not getting a divorce before you start; don’t," People quoted the singer.

Earlier during this year’s Valentine’s Day, Gomez shared a series of mushy photos with Grande and captioned them "My Forever Valentine." Grande also reshared the photo and wrote, "I love you," with a heart.

People reported that since getting back together, Grande and Gomez have largely kept their personal lives out of the spotlight. Grande, however, shared a rare glimpse of their personal lives in November 2022, when she shared a couple of photos of Gomez in a carousel post on Instagram.
