Anupamaa Anuj marriage is the most anticipated drama scene that the audience and fans of the Indian TV series are waiting for. While Anupamaa has confessed her love for Anuj and is thinking of marrying him, the road ahead might not be as smooth as it seems.

Anupamaa and Anuj's love story took off when she confessed her feelings to him on Valentine's Day. After that, the audience witnessed romantic scenes between the two. On her birthday, Anupamaa was going to tell her family of her intention to get married to Anuj. However, her surprise was postponed as her daughter-in-law announced her pregnancy that overjoyed Anupamaa. She promised Anuj that they will definitely get married.

However, soon Anupamaa has to shift to Shah house when her daughter-in-law's health declines. She decides to stay there and take care of her during her pregnancy. Anuj gets disappointed, worried and a little jealous to let her go again to the place where she faced such trauma. But he decides to support her decision and visits her often. After that we saw them having romantic moments and playing Holi with each other like typical love birds. When everything seemed easy going and fans started expecting the wedding, Anupamaa's mother-in-law, Ba, decided to crush those desires of the fans.

Ba made her realise on Holi that she is no longer just a divorced mother of three but will soon become a grandmother and a grandmother is not allowed to have a romance or get married. She gives her an earful on the society's shallow expectations from women and tells her of the difference between men and women. Even though her words were full of stereotype and misogyny, Anupamaa's decision of marriage seemed to waver as she started questioning it. Her family oriented personality took over her and she was seen caught in a dilemma on what to do next.

This covered the idea of Anupamaa Anuj marriage with the clouds of doubts and speculations. The show is trying to present the reality of the world who judges women for marrying after a certain age. It will be interesting to see how Anupamaa will overcome the hurdles in the way of her love story and wedding.
