Ankita Lokhande And Vicky Jain Wedding:
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are set to tie the knot today. Ankita was seen wearing a golden embellished lehenga and heavy stone cut Kundan jewellery on the occasion with a red bindi on her forehead. While the dulhan garnered much of the attention, the dulha was no where less. Vicky wore a golden white sherwani and paired it with dhoti pants and shehra.
Vicky reportedly came to the venue with his baraat on a vintage car. The couple exchanged garlands in an elaborate mandap with a water wall in the background. The couple was so happy on seeing each other that they couldn’t help getting emotional and hugged each other on the stage. On the sides of the stage, four men wearing red coloured clothing with gerua pagdi performed aarti.
The wedding ceremony is to take place today at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
The couple’s pre-wedding festivities started on December 11, 2021 and Ankita has been constantly posting pictures of all her functions for the fans on Instagram. Even though Ankita suffered a leg injury, she is seen to be enjoying the celebrations. A picture was posted by her where her beau was seen carrying her in his arms and she captioned it, “The love we share makes my mehendi look so beautiful so meaningful so memorable.”
Their engagement and sangeet function took place yesterday and was graced by many of the stars including her co-star from Manikarnika, Kangana Ranaut. Kangana also took a jib at Ankita on her Instagram story for her “planet-sized ring”.
Meanwhile, keeping in mind the increasing cases of COVID-19 in Maharashtra, the couple has decided to cancel the red carpet event reception. However, the guests will arrive to bless the newly wed couple in rotation.
